The BRTC Financial Aid office helps students apply for and manages all types of student financial support including scholarships, loans, and grants.
Students must apply for financial aid. Staff can help students with all of the following:
- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA庐) form
- Scholarship and loan applications
- Federal Work Study program
- Veterans support
- Career Pathways information
Refunds
Pell and scholarship refund checks: Mailed 30-45 days after the 1st day of classes. Check for updates.
Note: Please be familiar with the Return of Title IV Funds Policy.
Loan Disbursements
- Loan checks will be mailed 7-10 business days from the disbursement date.
- Students must be enrolled and started in 6 credit hours to be eligible for disbursement.

Refund Notifications
ALL refund checks will be mailed to the student鈥檚 most current address on file.
- Please be sure to verify your mailing address that we have on file by checking MyBRTC and if it is not current, you should update it by submitting an address change through MyBRTC.
- MyBRTC will continue to reflect a message regarding refunds that will now indicate that a refund has been mailed to you.
