樱桃视频 (BRTC) President Dr. Martin Eggensperger, Vice President of Student Affairs Jason Smith, and Executive Director of Institutional Effectiveness Sissy Gray recently traveled to Chicago where they presented at The Higher Learning Commission 2024 annual conference.
The trio鈥檚 presentation was entitled 鈥淔rom Sanction to Distinction鈥� highlighting the process by which BRTC navigated away from probation to accreditation without sanction or monitoring. 听First, they detailed the “Do the Right Thing” approach听to accreditation.
Next, they provided tangible steps and resources an institution can use to prepare for an upcoming accreditation review. The timelines and resources continue to be shared via a webpage听added to BRTC’s听website that can be found at /about/accreditation/.
In addition to presenting, the trifecta attended other sessions on accreditation-related matters. Their goal was to ensure BRTC administration is aware of changes to federal听policy and accreditation听requirements that impact the institution.
